PRAYERS GO TO LONDON Sunday - June 21, 2009 Former NAFL Division rival London (Silverbacks) were returning home this past Sunday when their charter bus was involved in an accident on the expressway. One motorist was dead and 14 others were taken to the hospital following this tragic event. Head Coach Alan Lazar was included in those rushed to the hospital, he was in critical but stable condition at the time this news story was released by Fox 2 News. An SUV carrying Beth Smith, wife of PGA Pro Golfer Chris Smith and her two children blew a tire and collided with the bus. Beth Smith died at the scene while the children were pulled from the SUV by members of the Silverbacks.
