Titanic Collapse
Central Lakes Division rival Tri-City Titans announced today that they will cease operations for 2008.
Team owner Dan Harris listed a variety of reasons that resulted in the "painful" decision for the Titans.
Border concerns and a delayed schedule were two of the central issues that created a difficult
atmosphere for the Titans to obtain Sponsor Partnerships as well as other marketing and sales
    opportunities.

With the departure of the Titans, that leaves the Central Lakes Division at four teams: Genesee County
Patriots, London Silverbacks, Lapeer County Lions, and the Niagara X-Men. The North American Football
League anticipates the vacant game dates will be filled by other regional teams in Illinois, Ohio, and
    Pennsylvania within the coming weeks.

The Titans were an expansion team in 2007 and finished with a 3-7 NAFL record, 0-2 versus the Patriots.
