Restricted Athletes - Restricted Veterans are athletes signed through January 1st, 2008. At which time, the stated athlete will
become a NAFL Free Agent and may officially sign with other teams.

  • Deactivated Athletes - Athletes, who due to injury, performance, team suspension, or other various reasons, are not
    activated for the current season. These athletes remain on contract for its duration. Deactivated athletes may be
    reactivated at any time.

  • Released Athletes - Athletes who have been released from their contracted responsibilities with the team. They are free to
    sign with other teams.

  • Free Agents - Athletes who have at least one previous season of Minor League experience that are not on contract with a
    North American Football League team.
